Minimum System Requirements
===========================

Mac
---

macOS 10.14.6 or later

macOS High Sierra introduced a new security feature that requires user
approval before loading new third-party kernel extensions. You must
allow these signed kernel extensions to be used (Security & Privacy
System Preferences Pane) for proper use of Avid emulation. See :ref:`Installing ShareBrowser for MacOS` for more
details.

Windows
-------

Windows 10 64-bit

\*Windows requires .NET 4.5 Framework and Visual C++ 2012 Runtime
Libraries. As well as the Microsoft WebView2 libraries. ShareBrowser will trigger installation of these components if
internet access is available on the client computer.

Network Adapters
----------------

Please make sure power saving settings on network adapters are disabled
for the network adapter in use.

SANmp Compatibility
-------------------

As of ShareBrowser 6.0+, ShareBrowser no longer logs into SANmp or controls SANmp permissions or access.

EVO ShareBrowser Server
-----------------------

ShareBrowser 6.0.3 is compatible with EVO ShareBrowser Server 6.0.3013 or later.

Open Ports
----------

EVO and ShareBrowser Server use TCP/IP Ports 80 and 8577.
